Guinea-Bissau Humanitarian Action Campaign
The APNC - Associação Pedras No Caminho, ONGD, carried out a humanitarian action that demonstrated our organization's strong commitment to promoting actions with a real impact on the lives and community of the most needy. Between January 27 and February 27, 2024, our dedicated team faced a challenging mission in Guinea-Bissau, achieving significant milestones. With a contingent ranging from 19 to 50 people, including 4 doctors and 2 assistants, we managed to provide essential healthcare, nutritional, educational, and environmental support to extremely vulnerable communities. This initiative allowed us to directly reach about 21,400 individuals, conducting 533 free medical consultations and distributing 3,800 kilograms of rice, in addition to implementing educational support with the donation of teaching and sports materials, and fostering local initiatives for sustainable development.
